Mys stumbled into the room, stealing herself for the worst, which is what she saw. Piles of ash littered the room. Mys walked around numbly touching the remains of her family. She turned to Gabriel, her eyes cold. "Are you supposed to kill me now? Are you one of them?!"

Mys remembered the visions she had seen of his past. "You don't have to do that, Gabriel. You're not bound to me." She looked sadly down at the floor. "I'd like a moment to grieve, if you wouldn't mind. You can scout for other enemies if you want." Mys sank into a chair, her hair fell so that it hid her face. "Just a moment."

Stunned, Mys let him hug her a few moments longer before breaking the embrace. "Thank you. But with the death if my mother I become the Vampire Queen. If you're acting as my guard now, you really shod make sure my castle is safe." She gave him a faint smile, though her eyes were still sad. "I'll check the grounds with you."

Mys saw a couple figures sneaking out of the grounds. She pushed herself away from Gabriel, launching herself towards them. She tackled one to the ground, literally biting his head off. The other woman lunged at her with a wooden stake, but Mys knocked it out of her hand. The woman was badly wounded, and Mys overpowered her easily, draining the blood from her body before Gabriel touched down. "Two down."

"Who are you?" Mys demanded, slamming the woman against the castle wall. In response, she spat at Mys, blood spattering g her robe. "Very well then." Mys sunk her fangs into the woman's neck, almost completely draining her. Then when the woman had fallen to her knees, Mys cut open her own wrist forcing the woman to drink her blood. "Now you're one of the damned."
The woman screamed, clawing at get skin as if it that would help her. Mys smiled wickedly, takin to the night sky once more.
