So you're a new member and you want to get going on the site. Here's some tips 
1. Create your character! Each member is allowed three characters (and various NPCs as the story calls for). Simply go to the Character board and make a thread titled with your character's name. Flesh him/her out as you see fit.
2. Thanks to Admin Salem we now have a fancy schmancy chat box members, feel free to use this to discuss stories and such. (Or PMs, whatever)
3. Join a thread or create your own! And if you need help with coming up with ideas, MSG an Admin and we'll be happy to help you out.
4. Invite your friends. It's always easier when you're not the only new person, right? Well get a friend to join with you and have fun don't stay strangers!
And if you still have questions/concerns, post them below and we'll address them

- appearance: eye/hair/skin color; clothes; supplies; pets/familiars; etc
- background: where you're from; family/friends; aspirations; curses/powers; etc
- personality: (self-explanatory)
- and anything else you wanna throw in for flavor
